Description:
Tenders are invited for Construction of Shirugu Water Supply Project consisting of: a) A new reinforced concrete weir across Kivaywa River. b) A new water treatment plant of capacity 1,200m3/day consisting of two (2) composite filtration units each of capacity 600m3/day. c) Two water tanks each of 500m3 capacity in reinforced concrete and one (1No.) 100m3 masonry water storage tank. d) 21.2Km long gravity water distribution network of diameter ranging from 40 to 100mm in HDPE material. e) 2.9Km long rising main of 280mm diameter in HDPE material. f) Twelve (12) water kiosks. g) 47.5Km of gravity water distribution network in diameters ranging from 250mm to 40mm. All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Security valid for 120 days from the tender submission date in the form of a Bank Guarantee in the following amounts: KES 6,500,000. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KES 1,000.00. The method of payment will be cash deposit into the Agency's Revenue Account at Kenya Commercial Bank, Kakamega Branch Account No. 1103686909 or by banker's cheque from a reputable bank in Kenya. Bidders will be issued with a receipt on submission of Bank deposit slips. The bidding documents will be collected from the address below upon production of a purchase receipt.
