Develop architectural and structural plan for one poultry house for Akandeyu, Ethiopia Background The IGAD Centre for Pastoral Areas and Livestock Development (ICPALD) was established in July 2012 as an Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Specialized Institution mandated to “promote and facilitate sustainable and equitable drylands and livestock development in the IGAD region.” To fulfil its mandate, ICPALD provides a platform for regional cooperation and coordination in drylands, pastoralism and livestock development. ICPALD has the mandate to promote and facilitate gender, conflict and environment responsive sustainable and equitable livestock and complementary livelihoods development in arid and semi-arid areas of the IGAD region.
