Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Kenya Public Digital Infrastructure Options Assessment and Pre-Feasibility Study Assessment of: (i) the current digital infrastructure landscape in Kenya (public and private); (ii) a technical and business model assessment of National Optic Fiber Backbone Infrastructure (NOFBI), Government Common Core Network (GCCN) and connectivity solutions serving various types of public institutions; (iii) high-level modeling of future demand for connectivity infrastructure and services for public institutions and private sector; and (iv) technical and business model options for expanding and upgrading public connectivity infrastructure (NOFBI, GCCN, Local Area Networks (LANs)) and providing connectivity services to public institutions, including options/models for private sector engagement and PPPs, taking into account least cost principles and sustainability, maximizing private capital and spillover impact on market development and universal internet access goals.
