- Expression of Interest are invited for Energy Audit of Water Service Providers (WSPs) in Kenya The objectives of this assignment are to (i) conduct energy audits in selected WSPs to identify, assess and recommend investment opportunities for improving energy efficiency; and (ii) develop standard analytical tools and templates which other WSPs can use to carry out their own audits and develop investment plans for energy efficiency. The study will target six (6) WSPs two large, two medium and two small utilities with the highest spending on energy costs as a share of operating costs. The consultant shall determine opportunities for energy cost savings by analyzing the most energy intensive plants/systems in each WSP, assessing past and current energy use and establishing reliable and accurate baseline for measuring future results of energy efficiency efforts. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
