- The main objective of this project is to increase the fuel tank storage capacity by two additional 50CM (50,000 Litres) above ground storage tanks at the Dadaab Main Office fuel bunker. The winning bidder shall seek all the necessary statutory approvals and permits from the relevant government entities before commencing work. The job is categorized into; Civil works These works will involve the construction of the tanks containment that will have a concreted floor surface and masonry bund wall for containing any spillage and avoiding environmental pollution. There will be a canopy constructed over the tank farm.Activities will include the following: - Excavation works and foundation laying. Concrete and masonry work in constructing structural members and the masonry bund wall. Construction of the saddle beams Construction of the offloading manhole and pump island Construction of the tank farm canopy. Finishes to the constructed structure. b. Mechanical works These works will involve the supply and delivery of 2No. 50CM above ground tanks fabricated offsite with all the accessories as per the specifications shared and delivered to site.
