Description:
GENERAL SCOPE:The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified bidders to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the provision of food preparation and catering services to UNON. The scope of the requirements will includecatering services to be provided at the UN Events & Wellness Centre (UNEWC), Mara Sundowner Bar & Restaurant, as well as three (3) coffee stations in embedded with office blocks.The intended outcome of the upcoming tender process is to award a contract for the catering services foran initial periodof three (3) years with the option to extend for 2 additional periods of 1 year each (3+1+1)The service provider will be responsible for the operation and management of the UN Events & Wellness Centre (UNEWC), Mara Sundowner Bar & Restaurant and three coffee stations. In addition, there may berequirements to provide catering for ad hoc UN official functions throughout the UN compound at Gigiri in Nairobi.The awarded contractor will be required to independently furnish the designated space provided for kitchen purposes, and provide own equipment and furniture required to meet the necessaryoperational requests.
