- The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified interested firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the provision of services for the Disconnection, Removal, Storage and Re-Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic Installations at UNON Gigiri Complex, Nairobi, KenyaThe UN has installed a 600kW grid tied solar photovoltaic generation system at the roof of one of the office blocks. UNON wishes to carry out additional water proofing on the entire building roof, but in phases. As such, the solar photo voltaic installation needs to be disconnected, removed, stored within the compound for later re-installation on completion of the water proofing works. The water proofing will be carried out by others. On re-installation, the selected contractor will be required to carry out all connections, testing and commissioning of the solar PV system.The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
