Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Standardization of Mortgage Lending Practices for Primary Mortgage Lenders The objective of this consultancy is to support a holistic approach on the standardization of Mortgage Lending Practices for Primary Mortgage Lenders to enhance uniformity and suitability. In addition to supporting the primary market, the standardization of mortgage loan origination process will ensure review of any existing gaps and creation of efficiencies that will go a long way in curing the complexities associated with access to mortgage. Institutions with existing mortgage operations will have the opportunity to streamline and enhance the efficiency of their operations and align them with KMRCs underwriting guidelines and subsequent refinancing standards. The Standardization will catalyze the development of mortgage-backed securities in the market as a source of raising capital hence helping the primary mortgage lenders to free up locked capital and increase their cash flow. It will have two phases.
