- Description: Amani Organization invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates to take part of the procurement procedure for “Supply and delivery of foodstuffs and related miscellaneous products” under framework agreement for a period of three (3) years. Tendering will be conducted under restricted procedure using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to selected shortlisted tenderers.
The selection criteria will include an evaluation of the bidder-s supply contracts executed over the past three years, bidder-s registration, taxes and legal address in one of the following constituencies: Kibera, Dagoretti South and Kajado North.
Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more of the following lots:
Lot 1: Meat and animal products;
Lot 2: Vegetable oils and fats;
Lot 3: Dairy products;
Lot 4: Grain mill products;
Lot 5: Miscellaneous food;
Amani Organization Italian Cooperation - Kenya Office has been operating in the field of child protection and humanitarian aid, together with Koinonìa Community, to support Charitable Children-s Institutions (CCI) aiming at rescuing vulnerable children living in street-connected situations as well as rehabilitating and reintegrating them into the society. In particular, with NICE project (AID 012590/06/3), Amani NGO wishes to improve school inclusion and uphold home-based care, as part of the National Care Reform Strategy in Kenya. For this reason, this tender points to improve the provision of supply and delivery of foodstuffs and related miscellaneous products for three centers located in Kibera, Dagoretti South and Kajado North Constituencies.
