Description:
Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Sterile Needle and Syringe Kit (NSP Kit 1). Eligible bidders or their representatives are required to attend a mandatory pre- bidding session on Friday, June 10th , 2022 at 10.00 a.m. Kenyan Time to familiarize with the scope of the tender. Bidders are required to register with their details to tenders@redcross.or.ke and thereafter, a meeting link will be shared. All queries and request for clarifications should be sent to tenders@redcross.or.ke on or before 15th June 2022 and all responses will be posted on the website by 16th June 2022 for allto view. Complete Tender Documents (Separate Technical and Financial Proposals), enclosed in one outer sealed envelope MUST be clearly marked by tender number and description “GFPREQ01870: Re-tender for the Supply and Delivery of Sterile Needle and Syringes (NSP KIT 1)” The Chair Tender Committee, Kenya Red Cross Society P.O Box 40712 - 00100 Nairobi, Kenya And must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Reception on the Ground Floor of the Kenya Red Cross Society Headquarters in South C, Red Cross Road, off Popo Road, Nairobi on or before 11.00 am, Wednesday 22nd June 2022. Late submissions will not be accepted. Technical Proposals will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the presence of the bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend the online meeting This Tender is conducted through the Restricted Tender procedures specified in the Kenya Red Cross Society 2019 Procurement Manual and adherence to the Global Fund-s policies on Procurement and Supply Management, 2016. 4. Eligible bidders or their representatives are required to attend a mandatory pre- bidding session on Friday, 10th June 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Kenyan time to familiarize with the scope of the tender. Bidders are required to register their details to tenders@redcross.or.ke and thereafter, an online meeting link will be shared after which they will be guided on the scope of the tender. Bidders who do not attend this mandatory site visit will be disqualified from consideration. A virtual attendance sheet as proof of pre-bidding attendance will be used to determine the same. In case of any queries, please send all correspondence by email to tenders@redcross.or.ke on or before the clarification day. 5. All bids received must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Ksh. 2,000,000.00 (Two million Kenya shillings) in the form of a Bank guarantee from a reputable bank approved by the Public Procurement Oversight Authority valid for 120 days from the date of tender opening. 6. Bids without bid security shall be deemed non-responsive and will be disqualified. 7. Physical samples and Separate Technical and Financial proposals, properly completed and labelled enclosed in one outer envelope shall be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 am on Wednesday, 22nd June 2022. Late bids shall be rejected. Tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the presence of the bidder-s representatives who choose to attend our online tender opening meeting. Interested bidders to confirm participation on mail to tenders@redcross.or.ke and thereafter, the meeting link will be shared. 8. Prices quoted shall include Current Quality Analysis tests for the key components of the kit (By NQCL or MEDS Kenya) and delivery to the KRCS warehouse in Bellevue, Popo Road, off Mombasa Road. 9.
