• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Configuration of a Firewall. 1. The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) is the regulatory authority for the ICT industry in Kenya with responsibilities in telecommunications, cyber security, e-commerce, broadcasting and postal/courier services. CA is also responsible for managing the country-s numbering and frequency spectrum resources, administering the Universal Service Fund (USF) as well as safeguarding the interests of users of ICT services. 2. CA invites sealed Tender for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Configuration of a Firewall as detailed under the tender requirements in the tender document. 3. Tendering will be conducted under open national competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. 4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 0900 to 1500hrs at the address given below. 5. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of Kshs. 1,000 payable to Mpesa Paybill Number 522522 Account no. 1106738608. 6. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free electronically from the website https://ca.go.ke/about-us/do-business-with-us/open-tenders/ or Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) supplier portal (http://www.tenders.go.ke/website/tenders/index.Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to tenders@ca.go.ke, to facilitate any further clarification or addendum. 7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted in the sequence of 1,2,3…. n(n being the last numerical page of the tender document) 8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Kshs. 100,000.00 in form of a guarantee from a bank licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) or Insurance Company approved by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and valid for 240 days from the tender closing date. 9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday 22nd February 2023, 10:30 am East African Time. Electronic Tenders WILL NOT be permitted. 10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and time specified later.
