• Description:
• Expression of Interest are invited for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Unified Storage Solutions (Storage Area Network),San Switch and Virtualization Software. The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) is a public policy research Institute established to develop human and institutional capacities required for the formulation of medium and long-term strategic perspec­tives for development of Kenya. The Institute discharges this mandate by undertaking economic forecasting, policy analysis and research, and capacity building. The Institute is inviting Expression of Interest from eligible, qualified, experienced firms with the necessary skills and capacity to supply, install, test and commission Unified Storage Solutions (storage area network), SAN switch and virtualization software. Firms will be expected to provide documentary evidence and accomplishments of experience in undertaking similar exercise. Firms MUST provide the following eligibility requirements to be used as evaluation criteria: · Detailed company profile, physical address, and qualification of Lead consultant and names of 2 technical staff to undertake the assignment, including their qualifications with lead consultant to have a minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related field and 2 technical/support staff to have a minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related field (CVs and academic certificates of Lead consultant and the technical staff to be attached). · Certificate of Registration or Incorporation. · Relevant Business Permit from the region the business operates from · Copy of Tax Compliance Certificate (to be verified online through KRA TCC checker). · Firm Experience: The firm must have previous experience of a minimum of three (3) years dealing with Unified Storage Solutions (storage area network), SAN switch and virtualization software or similar services- attach evi­dence. · Reference: The firm should have provided the service to at least three organizations preferably in public sector -To provide evidence and contact person(s) with their telephone contacts. A set of complete tender documents (1 Original and 2 copies- serialized/paginated) in a plain sealed envelope clearly indicating "Tender No.KP/USS/07/2021-2022-Expression of Interest for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Unified Storage Solutions (storage area network), SAN switch and Virtualization software" should be deposited in the tender box located at 7th floor Bishops Garden Towers, Bishops Road, Nairobi. Large documents that cannot fit in the tender box shall be registered at the Supply Chain Management office locat­ed on 7th floor Bishops Garden Towers, East wing.
